Why do we feel so stressed? Frustration, irritation, struggle, anxiety, overwhelm, physical tension, difficult thoughts. Are they signs that life has gone wrong and inner calm and ease are simply out of reach for us? Or, perhaps, are they here for another reason? Could they be messengers, benevolent allies with valuable information here specifically to lead us to greater peace in the midst of however life is showing up?
Through deeply restful meditation and self-inquiry, we will explore tools to develop a new relationship with stressful feelings, emotions and thoughts.
Join us for this 4-week journey, designed to deepen over the duration of the month.
Shari is a Certified iRest® Yoga Nidra Meditation Teacher. Her teaching is informed by years of personal experience with chronic pain and illness, post-traumatic stress disorder, parenting a child with special needs, and providing care for aging and dying parents.
Shari is also business manager and co-owner of Austin Binding Shop, a custom area rug business she runs with husband, Jeff. In earlier careers, she worked as a life coach, angel reader, management consultant and communication strategist.
